U mean my first attached file? No u dont need any cable, or box, or dongle. U just write into ur imei ur network log and it generate for u a Masterkey which u can unlock ur phone with keypressing. (but this attached files is only good for Nokia Dct2 phones like 2110, 3110 so the old ones)
If anyone has a calculator which no cable, no box, no dongle needed plz attach it!

i've donwloaded that Nokia DCT2 Masterkey code generator, but the aplications just keeps shuting down after i insert the IMEI and press enter!
dont know what's hapening but.. like this i can not get my 3110 back on line ! :(

i am having probelms trying to get my a800 to work on vodafone! it is on virgin at the mo!

I have a couple of threads saying type in *2767*637hash (i dont have that key - im on a mac) with no sim card but nothing about this cable!

I dont have a cable etc, do i need one?

no cable required jus take out ur sim, power on the fone and type in the code. then put in a diff sim n done..

why does DCT4 code gen. limited to the dongle anyway?

the dongle is used to protect the software or something like that..
so the software will not run without the dongle.. so u need the dongle to run the calculator, unless someone manages to emulate the dongle..

DCT-4 calc dongle use this method

the dongle contains the "program" that generates the code the software simply passes the IMEI, Operator code and type to the "program" and the "program" returns the unlock code.

As the algo that gens the code necer leaves the dongl it will be very hard to crack.

i would imagine that somebody could just bust open the the dongle, and pull the program off the rom chip and emulate it somehow or whatever.

You could try that but you would just kill the dongle

the chip has a protection system built in it that when somebody tries to read the chip it corrupts its self.
