partial flashing in quiet old!!
try to get full flash for your phone (correct version) and try to restore your phone flash!
if it turns on >>>>>>>>>
then search for new tools like eeprom tools 3.01 and noktool 1.7! :???:

Hi!

You must have this:
- Flash Cable
- MBUS Cable
- Nokia Rolis
- Eeprom Tools
- A Full Flash File (the best is v6.00)

OK...
Letīs get the Party started!
Connect the Flashercable to your Phone (be sure that itīs really off, or take the battery shortly out off da phone and put it in it again.)

Start "Nokia Rolis" Select your new Full Flash File and flash it to your Phone
(Maybe you must SHORTLY press the power button when da prog says it to you)

Wait until the prog have done its work!
Now take the battery off and the Flashcable, too. Done?, Ok. Now insert the battery and connect the MBUS Cable 2 your 3210.
Start EEPROM Tools, click on "Update FAID".
Thats all!

I can only show you the door. But you must go thru it! (NEO from MATRIX ;-) )

Hope I could help you! Questions?
Post it!

Update faid, by the way is the magnifying glass, also you might need to press the pad lock, to unlock the phone to accept you phone. Easy!

I remember the good old days of partial flashing.........

@ THE FOX:

What's with the comment? A 3210 is a good place to start for a newbie! Why throw it out? The phone works? I happen to think this is one of the best Nokia have ever built! They just live on forever!

@ davejwilly

Use my Rolis flashing guide in the Forum FAQ, then use My Knok95 Unlock guide to complete the update! All will be fine! You can get a full backup flash file (Fubu) from here...

THE 3210 IS A PAIN IN THE ASS TO FLASH.

as alot of the cables dont stay in the fone properly.
so you have to sit and hold the cable in, while you flash.

Yup,

Have to keep the cables in the phones... Especially writing a 2MB flash with Knok!

Advice:

Remove the VPP and BTEMP wires...

Or of course just flash it with a 3210 flash cable with only four pins :D

(The extra wires are only found on the six pin cable..no?)

Somebody told me the newer 3210 flash cables are remoddled, so that you don't need to hold them while flashing :)

Cheers

Maybe if you were more careful with you cable when you bought it, you wouldn't have broken the little clip that holds it in off!? Mine works fine everytime! Don't blame the clip!:D
