yes i hope something like this would never come out...

maybe something that would be a s of a joke but to ruin a phone, nah... never...

some of us save up our allowances and money just to buy phones like these... some work their asses of just to save money because phones like this are not cheap. they are very high in terms of price...

some even get it from loans and stuff... so breaking it would never be ethical...


but to be honest i made something like a virus but just a joke. hehehe


make 1000 pieces of 1x1 pixel images with nothing on it. save it on your pc then copy it to your phone using epocware file manager...

after this, find a victim then send the whole folder... hehehe

he will receive 1000 messages. hahaha

very much doubt that you could get a virus that would permanently damage the phone. This is because on the 3650 (i think 7650 aswell) you have the ROM (Read Only Memory) which stores the key system files and if there is a problem you can use the *#7370# command to reset the phone to factory mode i.e. how you purchased the phone.

hi there
actually there is a user area in the phone which contains files related to the system.....

if those files are damaged...u may not be able to acess ur phone unless its re formated in NSC(using #7370# will not be effective in this case)....
somtimes this damage may affect the hardware itself...(ex: an IC)

so the idea of a virus is propably existing....however i hope no one will never ever make it..

I got a threat from someone with a similar nick to yours and was told by 11pm GMT last night (Sunday) i would recieve a virus.Then i came to forum and saw this post.


Anyways after i sent the guy an email back flaming him and making him feel like a complete loser who knows nothing about the Symbian Series60 OS he hasnt replied.lol

I was actually about to ask this question a week ago. B'cuz I had this crank caller on my phone that keeps on calling me and saying sh*t and hanging up at exactly 3 sec. (the phone call is free if you hang up before 5 sec) I was so pissed off and starting to think if there's a program or whatever that I can text this guy and mess up his phone. Anyways I just called my cel phone company and told them the situation all they can tell me is that I can file a complaint to NTC (National Telecomunication .....) and hopefully they will do something about it. So instead of going through that I just changed my no. and I had to pay of course...

I actually have heared that there are "viruses" for mobile's.... at least one that apparently burns the EEPROM off, by over-clocking the chip and the electricity that goes through it, or something on those lines.......

well i asure you people there is a software and its sent by the message and before sending the message you should know the type of the phone in order to inscript so anyways don` t worry people this costs alot and needs a brianic to do it ......... anyways byebye
