i dont think that is correct from post above

my dongle works fine on pc but on laptop it comes up dongle not find and after trying all the settings i was informed by a freind that it was because there is not enough power to drive the dongle so add the red wire from a usb cable to pin 20 on the main chip inside the dongle my freind has done this and works perfect now however mine now says dongle mismatch yet still works perfectly on pc so if any 1 else has any ideas then i will try them

UNINSTALL THE DK2 DRIVERS
INSTALL THE ORIGINAL OLD DK2WIN DRIVERS AND THEN REBOOT

yes...reeboting solved the problem for me a few times....

and reinstalling drivers il also a good ideea


plus: LPT port setting must be epp or bidirectional (epp+ecc)

I got the same problem - you have to use LPT reset program. it will help (I have to use it every time I run calculator) .Check out in download section at :
