ok so i got a ATT 8265 but i use cingular.....i programmed it to use cingular's towers but the soc can not be found there for it can not be changed.... but everything seems to be working ok...( i have not yet called cingular and changed the esn though) so after i cloned the number on the new 8265 i messaged my phone and got messages on both of the phones in addition to doing so i placed a call from a land line to my cell and it rang on the 8265, but heres where my confusion comes in: I put my girlfriends number on the 8265 and its not recieveing sms.... is it because when i had my number on there first and sent messages and called my cell they were coming off of the same tower and some how triangulating something? thanks (BTW: yes i had permission from my girlfriend to do this)
