No, it isn't possible bcause the original vibra battery has a bigger cover than the original batt.

Hi!
I did some modification with that type of battery (put Li-Ion cell in the original case... reduces weight by 80% using Nokia BLB-3 cell and increases standby time by two days)... but the Vibra and the "normal" battery have different circuit boards inside!
The "normal" battery has only an overcharge protection (or surge protection?) and one single part (a diode) on it's board (the one where the connectors to the phone's battery contacts are). The vibra-battery adds here one IC and several other parts, and of course the leads to the vibra motor which sits in the bottom of the battery case. By the way, the cases are the same!
Easy solution is to get a vibra battery, possibly one that's killed anyway, and take it's circuit board and case, and just put your cell into it, simply unsolder the original and solder the "new" one. Watch out that you get (+) and (-) correct, otherwise you kill the phone! If you want to try the mod with the Li-Ion cell, get a BLB-3 battery (for Nokia 8855) or maybe a BLB-2 (for 8250, 8310, 6510 etc... but it's only 750 mAh but even lighter!), open it's case with a cutter knife (carpet cutter or what that's thing is called), be carefull only to cut the white plastic! Then unsolder the cell (silver square thing) from the small circuit board inside (don't use the circuit board! take that from the original battery). Then put the cell into the 5110 case (use glue to keep it there as it's MUCH smaller than the original) and solder it to the original battery's leads (remember + and -). Hint: on the BLB-3 the (+) is on the case and the (-) is on top of the case.
The so home-made Li-Ion 5110 battery works perfectly, charges in about 2 1/2 hours with the 5110 charger and weighs much less than the original. The standby time is increased by two full days over the original NiMH and the talktime increases by about one hour, though i didn't test that fully yet. Also, this battery is free of the damn memory effect that kills the original batteries quite fast.
About the vibra motor, if you want to change it, look for one with same or almost same voltage. Otherwise it either won't work at all or kill the controller unit on the circuit board.
I hope this helps you......
