Security Lock

Could anyone tell me how to get past the security lock on a 5210. Its not 12345.

any help would be appreciated

use logomanager to connect to your fone and press F9 and you well get the code
OR
use rolis nokia tools 1.9 or eeprom tools to read the fone code

will this still work even tho when you turn on the phone it says "please enter the secuirty code?"

i cant get past this so will logo manager connect to the phone ?

what version of Logoman do you need?
mine doesnt seem to have the option to look at secuirty codes is this a secret function of logoman ?

any version should be fine, just connect phone, let it detect it (should still detect at 'enter code' screen) and press F9 as suggested, along with other info, one will be the security code

i suppose i need a data cable then rather than IR ?
as you have to have to be in the phone menu to enable the IR function?

Well i bought my cable conected it up, and it all working fine when i press F9 in logo manager it brings up the codes, but the secuirty code says "UNAVAILABLE" also my phone says "insert sim" even thought my sim is in the data cable contraption

Is there anythign else i can try i suppose the only other way is to use an unlocking CLIP that resets the secuirty code on the phone. what other programs like logo manager could i try to see if i can get the secuirty code up or are there and programs which i can use to flash the secuirty code back to 12345 any help would be much appritiated thanks

Try the attached program... (read phone and press 'Reset Security Code' button) although I have never tried it myself.

You could also try 'Nokia Tool'

i tried to run it by double clicking the icon and it said

"MSCOMM32.ocx is not correctly regestered"

Your missing this .OCX file on your system, extract and copy it to your /windows/system32/ directory and then program should run fine:

Nokia Tool should tell you the security code in the read out, in the fourth long black text area...

i used my shity old P100 with 98 SE on
i used fbus nokia tool all i had to do was reset factory settings
no need to muck about with secuirty codes
