I had a 8310 but it broke so i got a new one from my insourens. An god friendof mine repaired the "broken one" but i cant use it. So how do i change the imeinumber on a nokia 8310?

You must have a Data Cable for 8310 and a program to change it! Use the program given below, it is the best!

Yeah 100% Sure! Just enter the new imei number and click Change IMEI button.

Is this the right cable to change the IMEI? http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/info/datacables/8310.htm and will this solve the sim card registration failed problem?

Yes it is the right the cable!

With this cable you can:

1) Set the FAID (Sim Card registration problems)
2) Change IMEI
3) Upload logos and picture msg (using LogoManager)
4) Restore Factory Settings
5) Enable Netmonitor
6) Clear SIM Locks (Let your phone accept other SIM Cards of different operator)
7) etc...

tried the programme and it doesnt work there is noway of changing the iemi with this software what you need to do is take a chip out of the motherboard and then change the iemi as the chip is only rewriteable once as this guy has defintely not tested this software:cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:

Thats why i asked if it really works cause as i have heard you cant change the imei on this telephones yet... witout change the chip, and it is really not worth that work... by the way i live in norway, (you may see that on my bad english) witch country`s/operator`s shares the lists of blokked imei-numbers?If some one of you hawe a 8310 witch is blokked on the imei-number it may works here in norway and if mine works where you live and than we may can change?

Hey! I have an 3310 and 8210 and I have also tried to change the imei of an 8310 of a friend! It WORK PERFECTLY! :mad: Maybe you haven't tested it well! Before saying something check well! Also you must have an FBUS/MBUS cable to change it not FBUS only!

im not saying that the programme doesnt work it doesnt work on dct4 handsets everyone knows you can change any dct3 handsets iemi but not any dct4 handset i really dont think you should be a senior member as you havent got a clue what you are talking about. there is noway of changing an dct4 handset iemi without the modafications to the motherboard. you can change iemi on 3310 5110 6210 5210 7110 8210 etc etc but not dct 4 8310 6310 7210 8890 etc etc ok mate

is the 8310 the first of the dct4 phones?
- another question can i check my security code through the IR in logomanager on my 8310. because i forgot it.. and cannot start it up.

Hi, I have the same problem as you but live in London, so maybe we could discuss exchanging phones. Mine is UnLocked, but blocked to the UK (since they blacklist its IMEI number to the SP's here). So let me know how we could arrange to swap (providing your 8310 works, that is)...

I'm live in Norway and have the same problem with my 8310...
I would like to swap phones with anyone outside norway which has their phone blocked by a different provider.
