Lode Code BIG PROBLEM !!! need help plz

i sat to format my phone and it now asks me for lock code. i do remember wht the code is but now it does not work. i got confused and changed it a cpl of times. now it keeps sayin tht lock code entered incorrect 5 times and will unlock after 5 mins . after 5 mins i get a chance to do it again as well, but it wont just work. wht do i do now i need to format my phone ??? if u need ne more details of this problem plz ask yea

use system tools by psint. does not ask for the code

but it still dont reset my lock code.. any way of reseting the lock code?

Dude.... Pay attention... The only way that i see of you getting outta your problem is to go for a firmware upgrade.... Two good things will happen if you opt for a Firwaare upgrade.. You'll have the latest nokia software on your cell and your lock code will be reset to 12345...
However before going for a upgrade just back up your phone (nokia india will NOT do it).....

haha, i guess you have another problem.
before nokia upgrades your firmware, they ask you for a lock code. if you dont know your lock code, they wont upgrade that.

Dunno about that man.... I've had my phone upgraded in 2 different countries more than two times in each and till date nokia has never asked me for a lock code (yes i do change it from the default 12345). They don't even ask me for my warranty card now....lol

whoa... wel thats the process here in our country i think.
because when i bought mine to NSC, they asked me for the lock code.
i wrote it down on the paper but i guess my writing was too blurry so they did not flash my phone until i went back there to give them the lock code.
