Hi..
Can anyone learn me how to update faid with logs and with what proggies.

Look for Eeprom Tools by B-phreaks or NokTool by Rolis.
Both use Mbus lead and both work fine for me.
You no longer need logs to calc faid and you do not need to flash to unlock nokia DCT3 phones.

Yes normally and i when i make a upgrade version i update faid with Rolis or Dct 3 workshop 1.07I have tried many times but i think these proggies works only with normal flash i want to update faid in a modified flash,becose when i upload a modified ppm no signal and restart by itself

You have to fix checksums in the flash using NFree then upload.
Then log with koci and calculate the koci log with FAiDMonster (This soft takes in the koci log and the flash file!). FAiDMonster will output a log for koci, upload it then smile /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

This might sound stupid, but what do you do with the log produced????

when using the Koci logger, you dont do anything with the output log file, you just read the phone to get the MSID and then paste it in to the logger and load the flash file you used and it will create the output.nle file to write back to the phone with koci logger.

its much easier to use EEPROM Tools v2 or v3.x from www.b-phreaks.co.uk (http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk) and when you have flashed the updatated files, click the magnifying glass when your connected to a datacable

do not use PARTIAL files to unlock either, this will screw the MSID and you wont be able to do anything else with the phone unless you firmware upgrade or downgrade with a new MCYU+PPM, in EEPROM Tools, click the PADLOCK to unlock any DCT3 phone at any firmware version with a normal mbus cable
