View Full Version : Can the 8210 be unlocked without a cable?

I have some problems with my 8210's interface and cannot properly conect it with a cable.
I heard that it may be possible to unlock it without the cable. Do any of you know if this is really true?
Please let me know if you know anything about this, ok?

I don't think it is possible! You have to press hard on your 8210 cable for it to be correctly place on the phone! I also got this problem when connecting my cable to my 8210.

If you don't know where you can find the IMEI number of your phone, remove the battery and see the sticker which has a number with this format ex. "123456/30/123456/2"
or just type this on your phone "*#06#"

its not possible to unlock via imei on DCT3 you will have to use mbus and eeprom 3.1

I agree with you! The best way is to use an Mbus cable.

If you couldn't unlock phones by IMEI how did I do mine before I got my cables???

I wrote onto the page with it on in nokia free and they posted the codes!!!

I don't talk shite but i think you are....... Give us the link because i can't find anyone that can unlock a DCT3 by remote IMEI.....

You cant unlock DCT3 by code only the network operators can generate codes for DCT3 handsets.

DCT 2 & DCT 4 codes can be generated with software.

SO DCT3 NEEDS CABLE!

I agree with megamaster & bolti, DtC3 are impossible to unlock without a data cable. :rolleyes:

How is there an argument here???

DCT-3 CANNOT be unlocked via imei! The code is placed on the phone by the original network and kept there until needed again! No other network or or anybody else other then the original network can give you your "Unique" code!!! It's not a random calculation!:rolleyes:

there is no argument purely good advice coming from people trying to help other users apart from some idiot called danwood 76 giving wrong advice out and trying to drag others dowwwwwn to his level

dct3 unlock by imei will be availeble next month.
