Unlock 8310

i have a 8310 but cannot use o2 or the old o2 sim (BT cellnet)

when i put the o2 sim in it says 'simcard registration failed'
when i put the old o2 sim in (BT cellent) it says 'insert simcard'

the reason im asking is because i went to a shop in market (a shop dat does unlocking) they said it cannot b unlocked.

So i was woundering if i get datacables will i be able to unlock my fone on o2 and other networks?
plz can u recommend a software i should use to unlock the 8310 if possible to unlock

btw is it easy to use 8310 data cables i mean it was very simple to us 3310 data cables to unlock them so would 8310 data cables be used in the same way to unlock them thnks in advance m8's

Well I hate to break it to you but

YOUR PHONE IS BARRED

and no amount of unlocking is going to help you make the phone work.

Best bet is to trade it will somebody else who has the same problem in another country
