When doing searches on the board I often get the following error...

"The search term you specified (fls) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.
If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific."

It would be great if we could search for terms such as ..

pkd
fls
v70
i90
i95

Just my 2 cents

Thanks

Yep,
This is driving me up the wall! I can't use the search effectively, nor can newbies, so... we get the same questions over and over and over!
Examples:
led
not (working)
fix

and so on...

Can you's help with this or what?

Cheers!:(

Yep!! You people are right, sometimes you have to search for words which are less then four words long. Like:
MMS
SMS
Fix
New (firmware)
Sim

Now I'm trying to search for some wav ring tones. You can't search anything by file extension because usually it is just 3 characters long.

Is there any way to search for attachment names?

:)

Sorry, I think it is the minimum restriction of the forums software.

But more creativity would still do the job.

'v70's can be found by 'Motorola'

'led' can be found by eg 'fading' or 'invert'

'Nsm's by 'NSM5' and 'SMS' by messages.

and 'fls', 'not', 'not (working)' or 'fix' are not quite smart search topics.

Maybe somone out here to raise some sort of fund for new soft?
