newbie question on unlocking 8210

hi guys,
i have tried dejan and jethro for unlocking my 8210 software version 5.20
jethro says my phone does not respond to power on and dejan reports a tx error
i have tried a lot of loaders with dejan and various settings for my parallel port and i have tried on different computers - could it be that i have a dud cable?

hi

there is no need to partial flash your mobile any more, you can simply unlock it by mbus cable.
for that you can use, as Visar Mato said, Dejan's EEPROM tools (nk_calc) or I'd suggest to use knok for that, you can get at it http://nokia.sno.at/tools/

i am interested in porting knok to *nix - is the source code available?
