Help unlocking 688 gsm Ericsson

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I tried multiple programs including Saras workshop 1.7 but no luck. I am using an OEM data cable but it will not detect the phone.

I connect the phone cables with the phone powered off
I then click no in the workshop
I hold donw the NO key for a second and the phone powers up
10 seconds later I get an error saying "timeout no responce from phone"

I send to you an ericsson service software and cable pinout!
It's work at me, but it wil not work at you, than chek your cable!!
Watch on pinout! Bind the 7-8-12 pin on sort! This way worked at me!

Hi again!

Maybe you have a data cable,but unlocking programs work only
service cable (data cable have:Rx,Tx and GND, but service cable have: Rx, Tx, GND and shorts/-7-8-12/)

I figured it out. I put an FBUS/MBUS switch between pin 7 and 12 on the OEM cable.

I had got an er. 688 so I had the same problem!
It was wery hardly to open the locks.
First times it said "tampered",-this time alredy working.
On the cable the pin 7 is test, the pin 12 is +5 volt,-that's ok.
The pin 8 is +5 volt on the another ericsson mobiles( T10,T18 etc).
So you need to connect together each three test pin 7-8-12!!!
Try it pls and reply me!
Have you got any 688 flash and eeprom?
Maybe will to need for you respectively for your 688.
If need to you I have one just ask me!

If you are using an original Ericsson cable all you need to do is solder a connection between pin 7 and 12. It may be easier to find an aftermarket cable

Yes I know this, it's ok.
Don't worry about this just try what I said!!!
Try to clean the pins with contact cleaning spray and with
toot-brash!
If not work I'll send to you another ericsson softwares.
