Userport won't work

I have formatted my pc, and when i downloaded all the programs, and installed userport (i have put the UserPort.sys in system32/drivers).
But when i start rolis flasher the program says: UserPort Software needed..

I don't know what to do.. i have tried many userport files, but nothing works... And if i set the prog. to run compability mode for win98/me the prog. don't find the LPT ports.. i don't know what to do..

I'm having the same problem with rolis flasher... no error messages etc... but it'll just sit there.... when powering on the fone... it doesnt recognise it an the fone just switches on.... rolis still sits der waiting... XPMobile seems to wrok fine howver...

hmmm still prefer using rolis as its faster...

any body have n ideas y rolis wnt recognise the LPT1 port?


runnnig a clean version of windoes xp pro...

hmmm it used to work on my old system which was upgrade from win98>win2000>xp pro

the printer mode musst be ECP/EPP


then you need the correct settings for

and the ltp1 port ( http://scifi.pages.at/wojtek_gsm/einrichten/lptport/eigenschaften_lpt1.jpg )

druckerport :confused: sorry I dnt speak german.... and besides... my comport works fine... rolis nokia tool has no problems.... and the LPT1 port is fine also as it wrks perfect with knock / xpmobile...
