Mapper and dongle emulator

i have this problem, i need to make work the mapper6 but the program tellsme that i need the esn-box, there is any other version of the mapper that no need the esn-box?. With a dongle emulator like the wkpe can emulate the esn-box?, or what i need for make work this program?. I need to some software to change de esn in the motorola startac 3000 and 6000 versions.
