Ringtones from the Nokia Club

I just checked out the ringtones in the nokia club. They are soooo great :eek:

I've recorded them to a wave file and right now i'm converting them to midi, but still they suck :sad: .

Any idea where i could download them (for free of course ;-) )?

use akoff to convert wav to midi and then convert midi to rtttl.

I think the best way is to read flash from your nokia phone and convert it using conversions tools that you can find at our download area.

Thanks for the replies, but...

I've converted the waves to midi with many different tools, but they still suck! They sound completly different!!!

I've send one ringtone from the Club Nokia (http://www.club.nokia.com) then i saved it using mygnokii.

I'd like to start somethin at the forum:

People, if somebody has ringtones from the Club Nokia (http://www.club.nokia.com) attach them to this threat.

I've attached the one i have, if i get some more i'll post them here too!

PS. If you didn't hear the ringtones from the Club Nokia (http://www.club.nokia.com) you don't know what i'm talking about! THEY KICK ASS :D

Yep, the last two are *.re.

They only miss the first 12 bytes with the indexnr, the length and the 4 characters shortname for those ringtones.

U want them fixed for usage in other proggies?

It is totally different things.

*wav is raw audio format.
*re is a sort of simple midi protocol, the language with the notenumbers, not the sound itself.

I gave Index numbers FD, FE and FF, maybe this can cause malfunction and U have to correct it to suitable ones first.
I also didn't test, blablabla..

Strange, they 'look' good to me but I cannot tell if they 'sound' correct unfortunately.

So I will test one of these some later myself in a 3310 and report.

Hi!

When you are at the ClubNokia Site and listen to the music there will b a JavaApplet running.
The sound is reproduced through the WAV output and seems to be a replay of a DigitalContent Stream.
This stream can be found in the asp in the browsers cache.
Maybe somebody has/knows a tools to filter the content?

I just attached an example asp I got this morning.

I forgot 1 thing I guess, the 6210.
62xx types have 16 byte characters used for long names, mine were 8 bits.
But I still need to test and I will rebuilt if that's ok myself.

Hi to all!

I have a little problem here.
When I change smth in the MCU (for example the SMS ringtone but also some programm code)
and i cortrect all the checksums with the usualy programs (PPMFixer NFREE etc).
I ALWAYS get a "contact service".
If i change the code in a byte oriented way so that if I add one to any byte and subtract it again somewhere else everything is fine.
So i made the conclusion that there must be a checksum that is just the 8-bit sum of a certain area in the MCU region.
Does anybody have any info about this?

I'd like to be able to change also the MCU. Some point in the program code seem to be really interesting ;-)

I know only one calc, result is however placed at 2 locations. (&h22 and at end of ppm - 6)

Calc is 16bits sum of all mcu data starting for &h24 to end.

Some 62xx models calc untill &H130100 (NPE3) or &H140100 (NHM3)

Dear friends i am put for download THE BEST vesion gnokii now all memebers and nokiafuns can download ringtone in eeproms or ringtone with Nokia club. This version gnokii is testing and i can say tha t is very nice soft.

Pedjulino is absolutely right mexusbg, Nokia Club has the best ringtones to offer for 40 series phones, nobody can match them. Unfortunately, Nokia Club isn't available for India either. :(
