Will await developments.(old board seemed more friendly)
Had to reset password as new board seems to have lost or changed original.
Aviators not working (refuses to accept upload aviator)
(Airwaves home bulitin board is also down).
Navigation and setup has more features, but is now more complicated?
Sure all will be well when setup completed.(fingers crossed)

my board is back up...

this one needs:

the old phpbb themes to go...
the passwords have been encrypted with MD5 encryption for security, you will need to reset it in most cases.

avatars should work, there is a size limit and dimension limit 50x50 (at the moment) also has to be jpeg or gif.

attachments should work too, again, there is a size limit and a file extension limit - just upload everything zipped for quickness and to save admin some bandwidth.

the smilies didnt convert/copy properly either

the reason why phpbb is no longer in use is due to hacking and a security hole in phpbb which is why it went down not so long ago and had to move servers.

vbulletin is a better software for forums and this version running is pretty stable.
