hey Guys ,

Im Having problems flashing using rolis 478b6 b5 b001 etc on my laptop ? when i set it to read or write a flash it comes up with press power on ( as usual) I press power button on the phone for it to start and the phone turns on!

so I think its a lpt port problem , anyone else have this fault is there a remedy ?

you should press power on shortly..don't wait for the fone to turn on

yes i kNow i use this software on my desktop , just trying to put it on laptop , but not working .

try using the charger instead of pressing power on..I mean plug the charger when the program says pree power on

You have to set the LPT port to the correct setting in the bios! A lot of laptops will run on SPP, you need ECP or EPP! Mine will only run on ECP, so try all of them! If you can't access your bios from the laptop, go to the manufacturers website, they will have a download for you!!!;)
