Hi guys.

I was playing with pcLocals and found these bits called Product Profile Bits.
It is editable there, also in Wintesla I've seen them.

Does anyone know or have ideas what their usage could be?
I changed some but could not notice any differences.

A7.21.98.B0 or in bits 11100101.10000100.00011001.00001101

(Eeprom Location 00xx.0176)

Thanks in Advance.

Hi NokDoc!

Some of them r used to set the contrast (think a 4 or 5 bit value.
1 or 2 are necessary to set if you want to enable the 2 additional games (react and another one) in the 3210 (just 2 versions!).

I dont know about the other bits. Did u try to invert the whole 16 bit already?

I'm curious what happens... if I can I#ll do later...

I'll post the results if there are some significant.

Thanks for the Reply, it is a good start.

I never noticed differences but didn't know where to look.

The display bits can be easily checked with little tool and reread the (32) bits to see what changed.
Who knows such a tool foor adjusting the display brigthness via fbus/mbus?
This will make the checking easier.

Hi NokDoc!

LogoManager has an option like this but I succeeded just with some phones (different model).

If u have a 6210 available flash the 6250 software (or even better take a 6250 :-) and change the contrast with the built in menu.
But I fear it will not affect the profile bits.
I know for sure they have a meaning in the 3210 and the 6130 (I changed them long time ago).
