dear guys..

Flash file of nok2100 ph sizes pefectly 2MB only. So pl. dont fear to use the file.

for version 5.11 AND lang pack F u may have to find original Wintestla pack of 2100. You better visit i-phone.org 's forums. Use rollis flasher {select 5210 as model AND change end address} in this case if u cant find a full flash v5.11.

Adding one more thing : latest version of 2100 is 5.41.

On cable's part USE 82XX cable - for both operation. i.e flashing & data operations. U can use dejan 's classic {some cable stickers reads Nk-box also} cables for flashing.
And similarly 82XX serial cables for other operations.
If u use dejan box then also u can easily upgrade ur phone using mcu+ppm files.
I ven't tried on original DDP dongle. Pl let me know if someone has done it successfully.

after i flashed my 2100 it bcome contact service
how can i solve it?

Always it will show contact service. Do not worry.

You can use latest Rollis tool OR Knok also. First set ur com port. Read phone using 82xx data cable OR universal box cable.

Clear sp lock. Cell will restart if u use rollis new tool v1.9 {with imei function}. If u r using old rollis versions OR knok then restart the ph manually. Now it will show insert sim. Again read it. Change IMei . Again ph will restart. Read again to confirm changed imei. Finally click FAID update. Again it will reboot. Read now for the last time. Click SFR button to get rid of initial security code prompt.

One more thing i would like to add here that.. once u click SFR settings it will not ask for security code i.e. 12345 BUT THIS FUNCTION REMOVES ANIMATED START UP LOGO. If u wanna restore ur animated logo then you may have to use logo manager OR anyother available s'ware.

At last...Remove cable N check network reception. That's it - now ur phone is ready.

Yes it is knok 95 that i use.
The phone is a nokia 2100 which had version 5.05 on it.
After i got the can prepare phone failure, i tried another one and it went all the way.
The phone started with CS, i faid, clear lock, change imei, reset fac settings, and i got insert card.
insertec a sim card, and the display stays white.
powered off and try to power on again, but it wont turn on.
reflashed the phone, but still i does not power on.

any idea ?

p.s i noticed that your flash is a 5.21
do you maybe have the 5.05 fullflash with eprom ?

Hmmm

Some 2100 have new flash ids. You can try using the Geocadin Flasher by Ice Draagon.

Dear.. follow the steps

1. Read full flash of ur damaged ph.

2. Take a working ph. - Read also its full flash. Save this file. (i.e. 0x200000 to 0x400000)

3. Now also read working ph.'s MCU+PPM also. Save this file.(Knok has this option in READ menu)

4. Now more reading. Read only EEProm part of working ph. (i.e 0x3F0000 to 0x400000)

5. Then full flash ur bad ph. with this good ph.'s FULL FLASH that u saved earlier. Result: CONTACT SERVICE

6. Then flash Good EEPROM file to bad ph. result. C S again. Note start address stated above to flash eep.

7. THen flash stored good MCU + PPM part. result C S again.

8. Now use Nokia Tool. Read it. Change IMEI - FAID - SFR

9. insert sim on screen.. insert ur sim - reply me with thanks :)

The THEME idea is - FLASH a virgin eeprom AND virgin MCU PPM separately. u r done. If flash chip is new.. little bit modification is needed in config files of KNOK.

I tied all those combination.
When i write the full flash, i get contact service.
I then change imei, remove sp, update faid, en then reset settings.
i get insert card.
When i remove the battery however, the phones dead, are start up with a black display.

any idea.
isn't this a version problem, the sw version of the phone i tried to flash was 5.05, and i;am trying to flash it with 5.21

Hi,
I have the same problem with 2100 v5.21. When I try to read it with Noktool , it can't be read. But when I reset the SW, phone data will come out but eventually hangs. I cannot flash it because it only prompts cannot detect phone. I've tried Rolis and Knok but nothing works.
