3510i IMEI changing?

I have a black listed 3510i and a screwed 3510 which iv been using for ages now.. Is there any way i can take a part of the 3510 and replace it in the 3510i to change the IMEI so i can use it? I know it sounds a bit far fetched (well it does to me) but its worth a try.. Grateful for the help.

im not 100% sure but i think if you swap the board over inside it should do it ( are they the same shaped phone (like 3310 and 3330)....
