The 8210 attachment is crap!!! Hold the unit firmly against the phone or tighten the two screws so they are lower! Use Knok to update faid!;)

Did you set the com port to 1 in Knok? I'm running a dual system Win98\2000, Knok will not work 100% in 2000 for me, only '98! That's prob the cause!!!;)

I have a similar problem!
I have two 8210's, my cable works in one but not the other!

I have slightly solved this by modding my flasher cable so it doubles as a data cable by connecting the M/bus terminals and ground terminals together by use of temporary wire!
Would post pics I you wanna see them!

Im havin problems with Internet explorer and it wont let me reinstall it, at the mo I am at work on their PCs!
As soon as I get it goin again I will post em!

So your flasher works correctly with ure phone??
And the cable works on logomanager, have you got it set to mbus on logomanager or fbus??

Here are the photos of my cable bodge!
When you do it make sure you connect up the right leads (mbus-mbus and ground-ground)
I have also included the pinouts for the 8210 which should help you if you cant work out the photos!

I have done this to all of my cables so that I didn't have to buy a data cable kit or a cable for each type of phone!

Hope it helps!
