Nokia 5110 Operator Name

Hi
I have a Nokia 5130 and when i put in a vodafone simcard the operator logo comes up as UK 15 anyone know why this is??

The phone was built before Vodafone existed! In the phone the network is known as UK 15 not Vodafone! Like in the Republic of Ireland, most phones older then a year will say "Eircell" rather then Vodafone! Vodafone bought Eircell last year!;)
