Yes it need test point, but I hevent test it.

Hi, I tried the program with a C55 with the test point and the soft works perfectly.

Hi, For to make the test point in a C55 You have to remove the resistor. You can to see it in a following image.

in this diagram there is 2 test points ,,
which one do you use or can you use both??...

a50 has3 as you know but only 1 works,,
are we in the same boat here........

where is the two points you mention ?

I see only one and a small enlargement of that area for better viewing :)

I think what you mean is which pad do you ground ? lol

Well you simply REMOVE the resistor thats all for the c55, and for the a50 simply connect the pad to ground as normal.

in the enlarged part of the pick,you can clearly see 2 soldered points?
which is test point,
i have no c55s to test at the momemt,so all help is welcome..

Here's the point :)

The C55 needs ONLY the removal of this resistor for make unlock work with the software.I know its silghtly different method but don't let it confuse you lol.

Hi all :)

Im new on here and just got a Siemens C55 that needs unlocking.

Just a couple of questions:
1) How do i find th eversion of the phone?
2) How do i remove the actual resistor to create the test point?
3) Which software do i use to unlock the phone to all networks (as i need to change sim cards to a different network)

Does anyone have a walkthrough for a newbie like me? I've not done any soldering before and i really need to know how to remove the resistor.
