I recently bought an 8210 off of eBay with a signal problem (I did know about this). The problem is that the signal comes strong for the first few seconds after being turned on, but then dissappears and comes back at random intervals. I have tried replacing the aerial with no luck. But, looking at the aerial terminal on the phone mainboard, it looks as though the copper has worn away. I have tried bending the aerial pin slightly to touch an area still existant which didn't work. Is there any easy remedy for this?

Thanx

try putting a blob of solder on the aerial terminal and push the copper aerial connector down into the phone to make good contact
