hi i did a full flash on my 8210 with rolis 4.77 ugraded software from 5.27 to 5.31 after flashing rest faid with eeprom tools still intermittently losing signal any ideas? please

Did the phone loose signal before you've flashed it?

no it didnt flashed by someone else who ballsed it up so not risking further damage got leads and did it myself

Flash with clean MCU+PPM, Rolis 4.78, Virgin EEPROM, update FAID with NokTools. Otherwise, it's a HW problem.

hi where do i get virgin eprom etc phone works fine but loses signal when it didn't b4 thanks

thanks boeboe mate one last couple of things imea is at all zeros
could this cause network problems also my comport is not recognising the phone in eeprom tools says phone not connected is it com 1 settings if so could u tell me what they are many thanks

You have to change tje IMEI after you've flashed to EEPROM.
EEPROM Tools isn't working at my computer too, use NokTools by Rolis.

cant find virgin eprom for 8210 on that site does it use one of the others listed thanks

Yes, Click on Flash -> Write -> Select EEPROM -> In the dialog "Enter adress in hex", you must click on "8210" to flash your eeprom, then click OK, flashing will take 6seconds...

flashed eeprom phone says contact service flashed with 5.31 should i try flashing back to 5.27 its original software?? thanks again

Hiya, for the Contact Service problem look at my attachment...
And if that doesn't work, I don't know either...
