Hi all,
My wife let her 3330 fall in the sink and it seems to be dead (water dam).
I've got an old 5146 (one-2-one), but need to unlock it to use her orange SIM.
How can I remote unlock it without having to buy cables (if it is possible, of course)?
Any help is very much appreciated.
Cheers!!!

BTW,
The 3330 is less than 1 year old, i.e., within Nokia's time warranty.
Is it possible to get a replacement from Nokia?
What I need to tell them in order to get a replacement?
Cheers !!!!

Yes you can get a replacement as long as you still have original nokia gaurantee and the reciept of purchase!
Just take it back to the shop where you bought it!

Just tell them it suddenly stopped working!!
This normally works with me when I take stuff back that ive broken!!
Or tell them that the phone should have been waterproof and that its all their fault and if they dont replace it you are going to kill them!!! (JOKE!)

WRONG!!! If you read your warranty... Nokia Clearly state that water damage will NOT be covered in their warranty! Before they give you a new fone, they will have a technician look at the fone and he will see in 5 seconds it was water damaged, place a sticker on it, laugh, and send it back to you!!!
Why don't you clean it yourself!?

Hey chunkhead, I am a user myself....I believe I haven't got the skill to open up the phone and do the work....
Do you believe that I can do it myself, though????
Btw, I left the phone at CPW yesterday.... I guess I must cross my fingers and hope they will repair it anyway.....
Cheers!!!!
