I new for GSM world so i want an advice to flash 3210 phone safely.
i had read a lot of text but i am not clear so please explain.
i am gonig to upgrade my MCUSW from 5.10 to 6.0 with full flash
but i decide to extract only MCU and use old PPM.
if it's possible? so please advice me how to do this safely.
i heard that when i flash a new phone the eeprom will not allow to
boot why? (i had heard that is a checksum error? that's right?)
someone say that is must be FAID away what's FAID? and how can
i access to eeprom to correct that? it can be access via mbus?
so i am not sure please give me a full instruction to upgrade phone.

ps. what is checksum, msid i had heard about it too much but i don't know

First of all I think it is not possible to update only the MCU and leave the PPM as it is. Most flashing procedures that I've seen require both. However you might try exploding the combined file and flashing the MCU only though I'm not sure if it's possible. Anyway I'll attach the MCU file.
