I am in real trouble !! I attemted to upgrade software in my 6210.
Original was v 5.17 upgrade v5.26. I made a backup from addresses 20000 - 60000 and then flashed mcu file to address 20000. Then flashed ppm file to address 5A0000. Ran eeprom repair using nokia dct repair. Also tried to fix imei number.
Now phone says contact service and when I try to flash back original backup, I get an error message saying battery voltage too low.
Can anyone help ?!?!?!

Well, probably the battery is discharged. find a charged battery.

reflash the phone.

then use noktool by rolis or eeprom tools (u need mbus cable, but probably u know that, since u tried to upgrade the phone), u find them in download section.

and update faid, clear sp locks and change back to your imei, if changed.

turn off and on and should be working.

if u don't have a mbus cable, reflash your backup to phone.

Good luck

Hello Byteme,
I tried using a fully charged battery but I still get battery low message. The software i use to write the flash was Flasher 477 by Rolis.
Any suggestions ??

strange...

try with darkflasher or rolis 5.14. if you get the same error, make sure the battery works with other phones. by the way, did you change to 6210 on the dropdownlist (if it's same as rolis 5.14)?

Thanks Byteme,
The battery works with other phones. I will try out your suggestions and let you know how I get on.

nok6210:

200000-520000: MCU
520000-5A0000: PPM
5A0000-600000: PMM&E2P

well...for 5.56 flash MCU@200000 and PPM@520000, recalc FAID.
rem: "low voltage" error could also be a damaged flash chip...:(
