Is there a dual sim module that let work both simcards at the same time on 1 phone??

maybe not as u expect..u cannot recieve incoming calls on both simultaneously..but if u switch the line(line1 or line2) u can make outgoing calls from both.

yeh ive got one for my 7250, bought it off www.ebay.co.uk

then why did u buy it man? if u still must power off and on again doesn't seem much of an improvement.
i keep my second sim card near the battery and when i use it in the weekend i power off just like u and switch'em..and i didn't have 2 buy anything 4 that..

@mars_the_only
But atleast shelmo's way is better than yours as he doesn't have to open the phone and change the sim manually again and again. Changing the sim means taking out the battery, which can get damaged in the procedure. Atleast it's safer for the battery as taking the battery out again and again also affects it's life.

yjagota: yes and i change my t-shirt every day..would b much more comfortable to wear 2 and remove one after one day and keep the other..
you're right, but when u reflash your phone 10 times a day, it really doesn't matter anymore..
d4v1d: check the benefon phones.
alternate solution: u can get a sim with 2 numbers on it and change only the line, like i stated earlier..

You can't compare your t-shirt with a sim card. you or your t-shirt can't get damaged in the process but the phone and sim can be. It differs...

I have a sim with 10 numbers, all i have to do is go to the menu and select what number i want and enter the code i have placed on it. I of course have to clone the sims 1st but beats bulky dual sims and this way i can use any gsm phone not just ones that will fit a dual sim.

@Owen.Strickland
The code you're talking about is *3370#
This activates the "Enhanced Full Rate Codec" on youir phone, and, regardless if this was already activated or not, the phone will reboot. Some phones display first "Change active speech codec?" just confirm and it will reboot, and so activate the second SIM.
I have also a question regarding those "ghost" modules. Sure they are thinner than the twin-SIM backs, but how to get one into a 6610? I've got one, but doesn't matter if i fit it under the battery or above it, i can't get the back cover onto the phone anymore. The space between the battery and this back cover is just 0.5 millimeters or so, and even the "ghost" type of twin-SIM modules is way too thick - any solution?
I need a twin-SIM because my home network does not have WAP and the pre-paid i use for WAP is horribly expensive in regular airtime - and always pulling the SIM's out does not really make them better, i think. Any help would be appreciated :)
Kind regards...

im only guessing, but mayb you might find some no-name brand battery that has smaller dimensions than the original nokia battery. If worse comes to worse, mayb you could take a stanley knife and cut off some of the plastic on the battery.......... :o

thanks for your reply.is the ghost sim you have one made for specifically a 6100?each phone has a different size or shaped one (although some will fit more than one model). the best thing to do is have a look on ebay under 6100.thats where i got mine from.

Hello again :)
@SchrodingersCat
I tried that with the battery, and i guess it was one of the reasons my first battery went broken after only been used for three months - and still, the plastic "case" of the battery is like a sheet of paper, maybe 0.1 millimeter - it was enough space to keep the spare SIM card in there, but in no way enough for the "ghost" module, which is about (with SIM cards!) 2 millimeters thick. And there are no "no-name" batteries of type bld-3 which are thinner than the original, most fakes are indeed a bit THICKER because they have partly a higher capacity. AND i won't use such a battery in my good phone anyway - only original, please :)
@owen.strickland
I haven't got a 6100, but a 6610 - the battery type is bld-3, same as in a 7210 and 7250. Yes, my "ghost" module is specific for those phones (6610/7210/7250) and meant to be placed above the battery, but then the cover can under no circumstances be closed anymore. Ebay is a no-no for me, due to a lack of online payment abilities - i got no credit card, and paypal is not available in my country (Thailand). But there are hundreds of GSM shops here which carry those items, yet there are no "thinner" modules available than the "ghost". Also for this phone (the battery is already so thin!) there are none of those "Twin-SIM batteries" as they are available in blb-2 type, for 8210/8310 etc. It would work the other way round, tough - also my 6510 could not close it's cover using the "ghost", but when using a battery bld-3 instead of blb-2 (same dimensions and connections, but the bld-3 is 2 mm thinner!) it could be used nicely.
Well, i guess i have to look around again for one of those ordinary twin-SIM back covers. I don't mind my phone being a bit thicker, but the colour......... i don't like a tri-colour phone, black back, grey frame and blue, red or whatever front :) Does anyone have a spare body (need only the frame, no PCB's etc) from a 7250? It's black! The 6610 is grey.... shame.
Kind regards...

Hi everybody, about who asked how to swich or swap between dual SIMs you can use *3370# & that will restart your Mobile & swich it to the secound SIM, but what i want to ask here I heared that there is patches or kind of cracks that used that enables you still can recieve on both SIM I mean you can recieve on both without restarting ur moble if anyone know any about it plz tell me
by the way after many mobiles i used nothing better than 3310 ever :)

mobiles afaik are only made to have connections on one line... so therefore can only receive calls on one line hence you need to reboot your phone (either power on and off, or *3370#) for it to accept calls on the other SIM.
You can do this sim emulation thing which puts different numbers into one SIM (great idea imo... wish I had known about it long ago!).
If it was possible for a phone to hold 2 SIMs and receive incoming calls from both at same time (with a call waiting system or whatever), then they'd be made by manufacturers like Nokia and we'd be charged a fortune for the privilege too :/

The fakesim application for Turbo allows to emulate more SIM cards (the number is limited only by memory, it could be ~100 of them). You switch between them from menu.
Source is available at BLADOX (http://www.bladox.com)
Listen, very stupid question: I am on Vodafone UK, travel a lot to the Netherlands, and work with a prepaid card when there: can I swap the Dutch card onto the Vodafone SIM, or do I need to buy a clean SIM and swap both, and does it then have all the functionality in both countries? Thanks a lot in advance.
