View Full Version : cant upgrade 7110 v4.77

i change soft. version of 7110 v4.77 to 5.01, i flashed it from 200000-590000 . when i turn on fone, the fone wont asked to insert sim card and ir displays the battery indicator even if there is no card inserted.pls tell me the reason for my problem.thanx

Actually i'm a newbie :p , but did you update FAID and Reset SP Lock?

i only update authority id and unlock by eprom tools 3.1. but nothing happens. i tried to flash the phone using v4.88 from 2-6 but the fone is dead. only v4.77 can turn on the fone.im very confuse to that case.pls tell me reason.thanx in advance

Maybe your flash are not ok.
Download a full flash and upload to your phone .
Than start nk calc and F1 F3.
Will be ok.
If the flash is original and not modified you don't need to update
faid.

pls tell me how can i upgrade my 7110 v4.77. i tried to used full flashes but after flashing the fone cant be turn on. only the original flash can do it. if you have upgraded any 7110 pls tell how do you do it.

HI
First make a full backup
1/go at www.gengheraenga.net and download a mcu ppm flash
2/flash it to your phone
3/Start nk_calc and make F1 F2 F3
4/If you have network problem use nokiatool Rolis or mbus faid by Tek to update faid

i think youre right, my flash file file is not ok, i flashed my phone from mcu+ppm v5.01. i do not include eeprom. the phone turn on but no signal and restarts automatically. i tried to update authority id with eeprom tools 3.1 but it says cant read ppm version. i read with wintesla and it says ppm not valid.i cant update authority id. which flash do i have to use mcu+ppm+eeprom or mcu+ppm ??????????? thanx in advance

well, try to flash a virgin e2p@590000, use nk_calc F1 till F3
