I'm a little confused...

As far as i can see, after browsing the unlock code threads, there is only two:

All of these uses same algo, so in a generator, it does not matter which of these models you choose:

3510
3510i
3590
6100
6310
6310i
6390
6510
6610
6800
7210
7250
8310
8910

But here is the second type (type5):

3650
7650

But the question is, why was it so much complaining about 3510i before? People said it used a new algo, and people had to upgrade their dongles. But as far as i can see, 3510i uses exactly the same algo as the other models, except 3650 and 7650!

And 7250. It is mentioned as UEM2 Type2 or something, but that phone also is calculated exactly like other models, like 7210 for instance.

What part here did I misunderstand?

I think you will find that the 3510i is UEM6

Yes, that is correct, but the mastercode is still calculated exactly like 3510, which is not UEM6!

Hi,

I really don't know how many algos there are...

I just read that there are 2 Type2 types- UEM2 and UEM6, UEM6 being for 3510i and 7250... If it's the same algo, it's fine with me, I just don't understand, why people would 'invent' a second Type2, if it is exactly the same... :(

I read that there is sometimes troubles with virgin uk and 3510i...

Anyway, as long as the codes for 3510 and 3510i is the same, I don't care...:p

regards Scotty :)

We solved this in the newest copy of DCT4Win 1.1. The 3510i takes a different code than the 7650 or the likes of the 7210.
