theremoids:

Yes. The server is the danish webpage www.gratisunlock.dk

It is a free webpage (look at all the sponsors...), where users of the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Portugiese operators can calculate their codes using this form (http://www.gratisunlock.dk/Unlock.asp).

The strange thing is that they only added those few operators! I tested to make my own form - with all operators - sending the input to their site which printed the codes, and that worked fine.

Unique, Kontact and Dave developed my form further, and made this great webpage and exe... :D

However, this will probably not going to last forever. I don't think they will accept all the remote traffic very much longer. They have already tried to stop it once...

(Thanks for the credit Unique... :D )

I would like to do something similar to what you have done so that people can get free codes. I was wondering if you could help me out. source code would be nice. But just contact me.

Yes, if they have asked us before using our service.

Kindly notice, that sites like Uniquephones.com have claimed to be one of the first in the industry to supply such service, ....

And they just requested our service, as written above...without giving our service any greetings.
(even just write calculation result in their own software).

Thatīs why we stopped the service from such COPY-guys.

Make your own service or make corporation with us - we have allready spoken to several websites, that will promote similar service in future, example GSMinside.com

@Eurotronics

Thank you for your reply, i found it most interesting.

A few things to note for your next post

sites like Uniquephones.com have claimed to be one of the first in the industry to supply such service

Please show any other URL that does world wide free unlocks. Most if any are unknown or small.... we are one of the first.

such COPY-guys.

Copy...

I think not... our solutions tend to be one off. They aim to be unique, as i said before (hate to copy it) we have yet to see that same solution.

But hey... maybe next week we will do the php donglefree or.. maybe not. That my friend is something for you to judge and gamble on. By the type of person you sound like.. if i unlocked your phone by zapping it with my magic wand, you would still say i'm copying.

There will always be someone before you, only who has done it different, we aim to improve.:)

If you wanted your banners on it or links to your site, or even money, all you had to do was ask.

Have a nice day,

John

*Grin* Yes it would, however, thinking about this feasability of this:

To what extent does WAP support java script?
To what extent does WAP support posting?

I've seen wap guest books done, so I guess it's possible, but for now it would be nice just to get it done on PCs ;)

Shame it doesn't work, like the new form though :)

I just get the following in these browsers:

IE - Cannot be displayed
Moz - Just sits there
Opera - "Connection closed by remote server"

Oh well, I guess it's a temporary hiccup, what's the new free.php powered by? dongle? someone who's very quick at typing?

Great work when it works guys :)

Oh lol, Unique you make me laugh ;)

Seriously John, once it's all set up, you thinking of releasing source code? Or is it a private thing? I'd be interested in the source anyway, as a general interest thing (my programming is pretty shabby)

Good luck, I'll fedex the bannanas later ;)

<EDIT>Oh, and what you thinking about Virgin phones, the whole thing had me so damn confused, Virgin phones have the same network code as T-Mobile (they ARE the same network!), so what do they do with their master code that is different? I notice you dropped it outta the list, which is understandable. Is it true it's just a chance of the second digit, or more complex than that?</EDIT>

<EDIT2>@rfsj7: It works for you? No fair! I just get the same errors, both before and after your post :(, what browser and ISP are you using?</EDIT2>

<EDIT3>Sigh, seems the web server has blocked my ip/class c/isp...*sniff*, does it work for everyone else?
Also remember Unique, I can't PM you for the addy's *Grin*</EDIT3>

<EDIT4>It now works for me :)
@Unique - Cheers John, great work and to your fellow coders!

Yes mate, hence I said:

I was pointing out how the generated codes where wrong (slightly) compared to your working post. I posted a couple of codes for some people today, and corrected them in the manner as advised above...it worked for once person didn't work for another (I did warn them to type in carefully and not to retry since the codes maybe be wrong)

The one that it didn't work for...well I reposted his information with my generated #7 code and we'll see if anyone gets the same as me (the generator :P) or the adjusted generator.

Wait for the edits....

Every time I try i get "server cannot be found" - is the site down or is it me doing something wrong?

Kontact

hi,

the first 5 digit differs from dongle v1 to v2 and the new one.

but 6th to last are all the same..

in regards to the 2nd , 4th and 5th being different. sadly, i am also confused. but the unlock codes generated by www.uniquephones.com/dct4/ as "my good friend in gsm" said "will and should work fine"...

regards,

btw, the zoo is having some problem. just re-try and it will open for sure... monkeys and dongle need some rest once in while...

It is strange. I think both codes will work.

Over at "GSM-Forum" (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/index.php?s=) some people calculates codes, with a few numbers different (+/- 1), than the codes calculated by gratisunlock.dk, where we previously got the codes from.

But noone complained at that forum, and noone complaines here, meaning that both works...

@sonix

The server it is connecting to is dynamic, so it probably won't work, half the time since the IP will be wrong, just some poor sod with the old IP getting bombarded with 0.5kb packets :P

Cheers

Bob
