Is there any models which are 'UEM 6 - Type 2', apart from the 3510i?
Thanks.

Cheers Yotamz.
I tried to unlock my cousin's 8310 on T-Mobile with my version 1 dongle - by subtracting one from the second digit - with the 5th code generated and it worked straight away. So, I don't suppose that the 8310 is 'UEM 6' aswell is it?
Also, are the rest of the newer models such as 5100, 6100, etc 'UEM 2'?
The reason I'm asking this is because on my software it has a check box to choose between 'UEM 2 - Type 2' and 'UEM 6 - Type 2', and so I just want to select the correct UEM for different models.
Thanks for your help.

HELLO!!
you can ALWAYS USE UEM 6 CODES!!!! (except 7650/3650-USE UEM5)
all other DCT4 works without problems with UEM 6 code!!
so there is now no need to calc UEM2 codes!!
to get UEM 6 code, just do -1 on 2nd digit on UEM 2 code!
try it,it works!!!

Cool, thanks HANDYCRACKER2k2.
So that saves me the hassle of trying to work out whether or not a phone is UEM 6...

So unlocking a phone can be quite flexible.
There isn't just one (or two - UEM6 codes on UEM2 phones) absolute code/s that only work/s in successfully unlocking a phone?
So, the Griffin Keyboard Calculator comes up with different codes to the dongles, but they also work successfully?
If we'll all end up getting confused, then don't worry about explaining the Griffin Keyboard Calculator method!

I have this concern that no one have responded to yet. I have been seeking for answers about why there have not been any success in remotely unlocking ATT (USA) and Fido (Canada) phones. Myself have a 7210 from Fido and I have tried the codes with Type2 calculation. Now out of curiousity after reading this thread, is it possible that my phone is a UEM-6? If you have any ideas, please write back. Thanks.

I don't think that the 7210 is a UEM6 phone. But, you can try the UEM 6 code by subtracting 1 from the second digit.
For example:
If you have the following code: #pw+318366730605760+1#
The corresponding UEM6 code would be: #pw+308366730605760+1#
or,
Original = #pw+60343001652343+1#
UEM6 version = #pw+69343001652343+1#
Have you tried te 5th code in the list, yet?
I don't know if this will help you though!
Also, I've read about other people having problems with Fido aswell! I think it's something to do with the network code, because I've seen some American/Canadian network codes to be 6 digits, but the software doesn't allow you to enter 6 digit network codes: Check this post out: http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20461&highlight=fido
