some people refer to 3650 and 7650 as dct5 phones.. because the operation system is different and the codes calculation algo is different etc..

but these are still dct4..there are no "real" dct5 phones yet..

theese are DCT 4 phones with UEM 5 type...

this is why some people make this confusion

there are NOT dct 5 phones (or maybe only in Nokoia laboratories)

They are just DCT-4 phones with UEM 5 type as friend Alinus mentioned ealrier, based on the Symbian Mobile Operating system and NOKIA named them "Series 60" platform phones...

He might be right... anybody got an idea about the 3G phones?? I know that DCT 1 and DCT 2 have been the very old ones, DCT 3 the current "lower class" and DCT 4 the ones with GPRS. Now, could a phone like the coming 6650 with WCDMA ("3G") be a DCT 5 phone? It's already available i heared, although not here in Asia yet... Just curious......

nokia just relaesed some 3G fones here in england, I'm not sure what the no's are but if you search for "3" on UK search engines you'll get a load of sh1t and some hits regading the new 3G network in the UK.
