bPreaks eeprom tools calculates and updates, it uses the com port cable.

Modificated files can also be done with this program, only all checksums of the used flash must be correct before the phone will function normally.

There is no need for the old ways of logging by Tek or logfiles anymore.

The eeprom tools 3.1 is in the NokiaFree download section, there is a link under the button in the right top of this page.

used xpmobile 2002.....extract this zip file in one directory... after that run the application...

1. read phone info and calculate checksum. you (should use flasher cable) it takes about 5-6 minutes.
2. the checksum is now calculated and it will say "OK"
3.then go to the phone settings then set faid...click yes to set faid.....(you should use mbus cable)
phone will be ok.....

Thats all.................... : )
