Problem with Sync 9210i and PC Suite

Ok this is my problem,
I've Windows XP professional on my laptop.

I've installed PC suit 1.5 on my laptop and tried to run the Backup util to backup the 9210i on my PC.

My computer totally CRASHED and restarted him self in the middle of the backup.

I tried to sync all my contacts and the same problem,
my computer crashed.

I tried both several times and all the time the system got crashed.


Then I check on Nokia website and saw that there is a new version of PC suite v2.11

I've upgraded and still had problems,
the system all the time crush and restarts.


My laptop's hardware:
P3 1.13G
256mb RAM (SD)
HD 20G
SIS mother board


Any help will be HIGHLY appreciated,
as I must backup my 9210i before formating him.

I think you should completly remove the PC Suite software from your PC and instal the last version fron the website of Nokia. I Have also Win XP Prof on my PC and everyfing work nice (except IRdA port !!!)

I have removed the whole suite and installed it again.

Maybe it because that I have so bad data in my 9210i ?
I've upgraded 3 days ago from 9110i to 9210i

And maybe some bad data from 9110 come to the 9210 too ?
can it be ?

I don't think so that datas from 9110 is the problem. Rather is the problem with configuration of PC Suite or ports (COM).
CHeck it (COM1 or COM2).
