usually, what's the resistance of a LED?
i just bought one bundle recently, and resistance of the blue LED is more than 500ohm. and how about yours? what's the resistance? thanks.! and does this means that my LED consume more power?

are you testing the led in the right direction? remember they are a diode, and will only flow current in one direction,( until they hit their breakdown point, which is another story). test other way around and see what resistance is...

Hi!
You cant measure the diode resistance with a simple multimiter..
If Your multimeter is in position diode it measure the voltage drop down over the diode....Diodes are semiconductors so their characthreistic is not linear .....so to stable the current throught a diode You must conect a resistor in series with the diode....Back to the phones...I read somewhere that the blue diodes has big consuption than others but think that there will be no problem..
check this site www.gsmgods.net /directory howtos/ there is an algorithm about changing leds...
/sorry for my english/
Good luck!
