Challenge for you unlockers!

I have posted on another thread, but I guess no one really saw it cause no one responded to it. So I was just reading the "new" rules and I thought I'd post it on a NEW thread cause this practically one request that hasn't been answer for a period of time. Anyhow, THANK YOU first if you're reading this. But I currently have a Fido (Canada Microcell Network) N7210. However, there has not been any success in all of the threads that I have been carefully reading that this phone can be unlocked. And yes, I have tried using the codes from the web generators and all I'm receiving is "code error". I have even read the "unlock help" thread in how to enter these codes properly. And throughout reading in this forum, I have come to a conclusion that users of ATT (US network) phones cannot be unlocked remotely. So is there really no possible way to remotely unlock phones that are purchased from these two companies? If any of you great unlockers out there find it a solution, I will be greatly appreciated! I have a Cityfone 6310i (also on Microcell) and none of the unlock codes work for it either. I also just get a code error. All the sites give me the same codes.

Someone sent me an email saying that Microcell network phones could not be remotely unlocked. Hopefully someone knows otherwise!

After some research, I think the only way to go is the cable unlock it. Go to some asian malls and do it for $50.

But i saw on fido newsgroup, one guy said he's selling remote unlocking service for fido phone. he claims he's figured out how to unlock fido phone remotely. he's from england.
he put down his email [email protected]
if this is true, then it means it's possible to unlock fido phone remotely. however, i'm not sure this is a scam or not.

From what i read so far(from 4 forums), some of the ways that might work in unlocking fido dct-4 phones is either:
1. using level 5 = code 5 (#pw+....+5) ; instead of using 1&7(which in fido phones's case won't work.)
or
2. subtract the 2nd digit of the generated codes by 1. (because of the dongle version reason).
eg. #pw+987412107536212+7# become
#pw+977412107536212+7#
and if 0 become 9

pls post if anyone succeed.

I haven't try five. But I've tried lower second digit.
