- The SIM lock reader needs fixing, it says closed when it's open
- When You turn off the display test, the monitor shuts off and you have to reset
I tried the 3315 functon, but I need A higher verson and I don't have a flash cable

Hello Fresh!
The program you posted:3310-3315.zip does not work on my computer under windows XP pro. it says component MSCOMM32.OCX or one of its dependancies is not correctly registered; a file is missing or invalid.
Can you help?
Other quesiton when I upgrad the phone to 3315 can I still use the phone in Europe?

Download MSCOMM32.OCX from the net and place in the systems folder, but I think that's only for '98! Win2k and XP are not really compatible with 95% of programs!!!;)

@ Jumping Mouse
The main reasons for upgrading a 3310 to a 3315 is to add the following features:
Picture Message Editor, Personal ringtones for your SMS alert, Timed Profiles, Multiple SMS sending, Automatic Keylock and Stopwatch.
For a guide on how to do it look at
Cubwolf (http://www.cubwolf.co.uk)
Hope this helps!;)

standard 3310 does this.. youre either talking about "Send To Many", or the 453/1 indicator in a text, that eventually reaches 0/3 (can join up to 3 messages together in one sms)
and the 3310 has a stopwatch.. has had for a long time

I'm on about the indicator. I did not know the 3310 already had the stopwatch!

OK
I have an F/M bus cable.
Where can I get a flasher cable? Can I build one myself?

Well, i can say that all 100% of programs work with XP, just download USERPORT. Don't use 5.79 version (it has a SMS bug). Use the older one 5.59 - I works great ( I havent tryed the new one). Sorry for the bad english

BS!!!
Userport will open the LPT port!!! This only useful for flashing!!! Almost all of the M\Fbus programs for DCT3 will give errors for bizzare reasons, purely due to Win2000\XP incompatibility!!!

So you're saying that I should use program 3310-3315.zip only with windows 98.. not winXP??
Does userport do the same thing?
Where can I find a flash cable?

XP is based on NT Technology, which is very secure and tight when it comes to access! Userport will open the LPT port fully allowing the phone and PC to communicate without NT's interference!!! XP should flash fine, but other programs such as know and Rolistools ETC. which you need will give you errors!!!;)

All Nokia progs - for flashing and editing - work on WinXP. You need to instal Userport, and for each prog set the its compatibility in Property tab (to Win98/Me)
On my WinXP home all Nokia progs go perfect

coronator, this simply is not true.. XP is based on windows NT's security HAL.. the programs running in the o/s has no direct access to the hardware, which is necessary for flashign.. now im not saying ylou cant flash on XP.. rolis was written on XP so it shouldnt need anything, no userport, no compatibilty.. it should just work!
but chunkhead is right when he says that other programs will be problematic in their operation.. for best flashing results, win98 or other lame o/s (95, me) is recommended.
for other people wondering:
you can find schematics for flash+mbus cable all in one, at http://blight.dk
a member of this forum claims to have improved the design, but did not say how, so i declined to study it further..
ocx files need registering before use (usually)
install the OCX file somewhere, then type this in a dos box:
REGSVR32 (path to ocx file)
e.g.
REGSVR32 c:\winnt\mscomm32.ocx
