You can add about 70 tones in total. Yes tones must not have the same ID

Hey gkagg,

i've read that if i flash a modified v5.06 ppm, i will get probs updating faid (coz of ppm checksum)

Flashing an original mcu+ppm shud normally not give probs.

When i convert ORIGINAL mcu & ppm v5.06 to fls using nasDCT3 Flash convert and analyse the fls file, i get a ppm last 4 bytes checksum error.I can fix it by clicking on fix all checksum.

My question is:
Since i have fixed the last 4 bytes ppm checksum, will i be able to update faid?
Will i get no network access prob??

Thx

my 5.06 works fine modiyed or not.

i used to use 4.26.

i could neva get 70tones to work in my 3410 , i would only show like 46 - 50 tones but the composer ones wouldent show.

why is this? because of the java?

i use ppm manager to import tones.

got a 5.06 ppm killed checksums. went from there.
i used rolis under 3330 option to flash phone.

works a treat. but i'd stick with 4.26 if you like sending tones to your buddys as 3410 software for 5.06 doesnt let you do this , even with the $ in.
