After looking over the Dejan Flasher- and the MBus cable schematics, I'm wondering, is it really that simple to make? I mean, in the stores you have to pay around $70 for a Dejan cable, but when I check the prices of the components I end up with $3!
By the way, do I have the right schematics? They're attach in a zip file.
And, another question. Whats the different between FBus and Mbus? If I make a Mbus cable, can I use that for transfering ringtones, logos etc? If theres something important the FBus cable can do, can anyone attach the schematics for it?

Pretty sure this is right, but correct me if I'm wrong:
FBus is faster than MBus so is generally used to transfer ringtones and logos
MBus is slower so is generally used for unlocking/setting faid etc...
Logomanager for example has an option to use MBus for transfering the logos etc...but I think it isn't supported at all by some other apps at all for transfering those sorta things.
So in short, I think an FBus cable should really be used for transfering ringtones/logos and an MBus cable for unlocking.
And btw, I have an autoswitching FBus/Mbus cable so I use the same one for both :) (Sorry no schematics on my current machine)

it is so easy to ask and answer.
would help a little bit if your problem reads in subject..
what did you ask?
your schemes are 100% tried/tested. connectors will be hardest part to source..
you think $70 for dejan cable is a lot?? should have been around 2/3 years or more when they first came out (no scheme released...)
price is high cos people are lazy or ignorant..
m bus data cable use one wire for transmit and receive data, f bus uses seperate wires and has slightly higher transfer rate. nothing you will notice during operation though..
you can use m bus or f bus in logo tasks- logomanager is supporting both types.
for dct3 unlock/service you need m bus cable
for dct4 unlock/service you need f bus
btw here is f/m bus switching scheme... http://www.nokia-unlocking.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/resource/scheme/f_m_bus.gif
