3330 eeprom 2

I downloaded the flash from my 3330 4.50

made backup and fooled around with backup

reflashed phone after updating checksums even eeprom didn't work

reflashed original works

but when I checked original flash, file with nfree 1.3 checksum error in first eeprom 2

was wondering how come it works if error

and what can do to fix error nfree doesn't seem to work,

nor any other tool used ppmmanager etc.

And the check 2-2 read is a '01FF' I guess.

nFree no good for this, the position it reads data is 2 bytes too early on 33xx types!
Mainly because it is designed for 6210.

I can't think of correct tool for eeprom checks, maybe others know?
(I calc my own checks, sorry guys)

yeah, good guess

will this be causing any problems with phone

and is there any where I can get good clean eeprom(s) from

U understand this:

The number that nFree displays, that is incorrect!

It shows 1 checksum correct, it shows the other 01FF.

But however U have the 2 correct eeprom checksums.

I cannot verify from here but U tested it Urself by telling it worked!
As for me this seems to be the ultimate method to test!

Better explain Ur definition of 'messing around' with flash.

I changed some of the graphics with fgraphic

start up and some of the menu graphics

corrected the checksums then flashed
but got contact service

so I re flashed with flash taken originally from phone



just checked flash file

first eeprom 2 checksum 83de in red

second eeprom 2 checksum 01ff in black
