My Nokia 6210 had a "Contact service" problem and I sent it for repairs. Thankfully it was corrected but the problem I now have is that some features have stopped working.

Here is a list of the problems I currently have:

1. Call register features are not working, hence, I can't trace new callers; I can't check dialled calls and received calls e.t.c.. It keeps telling me that there are no numbers stored.

2. I can't use the shortcut menu of the call button to quickly trace recent call lists.

3. The ring tones are not being selected.even when I go to the
"General option" from the profile menu and then go to the group option from the caller group menu so as to set ringtones for groups.

4. My phone always ask for the time to be updated every time the phone is switched back on and some setting goes back to the default mode when the phone is switched on. e.g. the ringtone volume once set to "level 2 stays in level 1, and the moment it is switched off and back on goes to level 5" leading to a very loud situation, if you know what I mean?

I would appreciate some help fast as this is making life unbearable, so this is a cry for help, to someone out there.

hello

nokia has 3 parts on it's flash. mcu/ppm/eeprom.

if u know how flashing works... u just need to flash a virgin eeprom to your 6210.

1. u must have a flasher cables. and flash sw. like knok or rolis.
2. u must have a good copy of mcu/ppm/eeprom.
3. u must also have mbus cables. o update faid and put back ur imei.

do try to use search button... i think ur 6210 as lexx said has a corrupt eeprom part. it can be fix for sure... unless ur 6210 has h/w problem..
