if you uploaded it with infrared, i had the same problem... seems u can only send files smaller than 1mb via infrared, even if u have more memory

Well if you're having problems sending large file via infra-red... Try using bluetooth.. I use it and it's much better...lol

@ motafa:

i think not (haven't tried though). Only way to get bigger files via infrared is to zip them, i guess:(

I doubt the mode of data transport (infrared) will affect the file and whether it works or not. I think you will have to update your video recorder to the latest one, the one with sound. If you already have that then sorry bud, dont know. -=UtseenO=-:p

You can send large files via infrared, I tried it once on my 3650, I was able to send a whole episode of enterprise (around 45 mins. long), it was around 80 megabytes in size, via infrared. It took around 3 1/2 hours to send the whole file to my mmc card. That's the problem with Ir, it's just too slow, it's only good for sending small files or applications, but the point is, it's possible to send large files.

By the way, I used to have a 7650, I was able to send a 1.1 megabyte video file of southpark via infrared. I watched it using hantro 3.3. You can send files above 1mb to a 7650, it's only limited by the fixed memory of the 7650.

Mates, the easiest way to transfer huge files from your PC to MMS is to use the 3650 PCSuite! There is an option "File Transfer" on the left side of the PCSuite window. This method is faster than via ir and bluetooth. Hope this helps, happy viewing!

Transfer to mms? or do you mean mmc? anyway, I'm assuming you mean mmc, how can they transfer files from thier pc's to their fones without using an ir port or bt adapter? the only way they can do that is if they have an mmc card reader/writer, which I don't think they have, otherwise, they wouldn't bother with transferring video files via ir or bt.

Just to get things straight, fnvillafuerte, you cannot connect your pc to the phone via TELEPATHY. The PC Suite HAS to connect via something (ir/bluetooth).

Anyway, to try to answer the thread: The one meg limit is definetly a firmware problem - try to upgrade to the latest one and see if the problem persists. I never encountered that on my 7650 nor on my 3650. They both work fine.

Anyway, if you own a 7650 I would suggest using PC File manager (the cracked version works on 7650 but for some strange reason not on 3650) - it's like an explorer for your phone. Fastest and most useful tool around. Gost, maybe I'll even buy it so I could use it on my 3650.

What it does it that it displays ALL folders on your phone (PCSuite however does NOT) and lets you manipulate with them (apart from x:/ which is a rom). Best tool to apply cracks fast and to cut n' paste large amounts of pics and videos.

Hope this helps.
