Hi Guys,
I'm pretty new to GSM flashing ... tried to flash a 5110 a year ago, fucked it up b/c wrong software ver. and let it be ...
Now i wanna try again on my 6150 ... I still have the cable (one of these cables which are sold on Ebay as "Dejan Flasher Cable & F/M Bus data cable", meaning it has the fone adaptors on one end and you can either use an COM or LPT piece on the other.
The data cable part works fine, I can edit names etc. in the phone.
But when I connect it to the LPT Port (which is LPT 1 set to "bidirectional") flasher478 doesn't recognise the phone ... it asks for the "press power on shortly" and that's it.
When i press the ON button the fone goes on, nothing happens in the flasher software ...
I tried it on the Laptop and on the big machine, same result.
is there any way to check & test the cable? Or have i just missed out on some settings in the flasher programme or BIOS?
