yes, it is possible. Use search, there are already many discussions about that.

just add a dummy access point into your phone. I mean a GPRS access point with no settings at all, leave everything as default.
Connect the phone to the pc via bluetooth, load your internet application and select the dummy a.p. as preferred interface.

Here's what I did..

on a 7650

- Download Doris Browser and install. (there are other browsers, opera looks good but is 800k and needs 2.5mb free to run so your going to push it on a 7650)

- Go to tools, settings, conection

- create a new GPRS Access Point with the default settings

- call it want you want

- change the Authentication to normal (not sure if thats needed)

OK,

- Connect you phone to your PC.

- Open doris

- go to a URL, when it asks for an access point tell it to use the dummy one..

hope that helps.. works for me.

Hmm...

To make it work you need to connect up the nokia suite. Try opening a comport to the phone and make the nokia suite tray icon listen on an incoming port... They should connect fine.

This also allows netwerk access, with the dummy access point as described above... Some i-apps don't even need that, ie. Wireless IRC.

Both Doris, Wireless IRC, IM+ and TipicMe support the above method.

If you have probs connecting your phone to the nokia suite, try to get some help in the technical forums, i got my solution from forums.nokia.com

Can't get doris to work.
I've made a dummy connection called Bluetooth DSL.
Wireless IRC and Opera works though, but only if I don't set an access point.

But when I open an url with Doris, it asks an access point, and I select the dummy one, it connects through gprs. As it does when I choose it with wireless irc and opera. I've got a working GPRS connection though, could it be the problem?

Guys (and Girls) Just to be safe:
The described method(s) above won't cost any extra phone or GPRS payment right?

haha

you get charged... as long as data transfer occurs it's credited from your account ... unless you are lucky and you have free gprs with your provider.
