OK, so from what I found on the net, the hardware is almost identical to 3650 (minus camera, plus radio/USB/whatever) but the thing is, the processor is the same, so how can it be running "Highly graphical 3D games"??? it has the same (crappy) 4096TFT screen as the 3650/7650 without (from what I found) any graphics accelerator or anything to make the games appear different from on the 3650 screen.
Plus they run the exact same operating system, Symbian 6.1 + series 60!
So if I'm right and the whole difference is just some software on the N-Gage that is able to run the MMC games, don't you think that software will be hacked and the games will be ran on 3650?

Of course, with all those phonehackers out here... :D

But I would rather have an N-Gage than a (butt-ugly) 3650 any day...

Well actually if that's the case, then the 3650 is better because of the camera, in my opinion actually.. but still, I'd like answers to me other questions, cause if I'm not right about it, then the games will not be ran on 3650 if the graphical hardware isn't the same. :)

Some other features:

- Built in mp3 player/FM radio (mp3 can be used for ringtone)
- Data AND voice BT (BlueTooth)
- Tri-band
- Standard w. 64MB MMC

Other, the only "other" feature I see is the radio feature, and the fact that a 64 card is included in the box and not a 16 one.

Hmm i read the review regarding the N-gage a long time ago... It seems that the MP3 player (built in) and the audio bluetooth profile is the only advantage it really has.. I've got a 7650 and i was just wondering whether some of the games designed for the N-Gage will run on my cell (will i have enough space....?).. I think the N-gage is a whole lot of hype about nothing!!!
Cheers

I think the power is (going to be) in the games. They can only run from MMC (unless it's a java game). So imagine being a programmer who has a whole MMC to build a game on...

The N-gage holds a special chip for the 3dfx grapichs so NO other nokia phone will ever run the games with out hardware changes so no "phonehacker" how good they are cant do jack, but how ever i belive they are going to be cracked soon so we can play them with out buying them heh

i think they will crack the n-gage game since it are identical with many other s60 phones so on a happy day we will play n-gage games on 3650 or other s60 phones :-P

Of course, would you expect Nokia to say their "state of the art console" is just a repacked 3650?

The obvious specs are the same, so they say "something is diferent"...

of course it is different its got mp3 player and radio,

but what everyone doesnt realise is that there has to be something different for the games to played on the N-gage,

in my opinion i dont think the games will be able to be played on other series 60, especially not 7650 as the games will be huge!

I just Downloaded Sonic-N from francheca.org to my 3650 , to my amazement the game was detected by the fone on my 128 Mb MMC card and the icon apeared on the main menu, but to my disapointment when i tryed to run it at first took a while to load , then give a system error and an OK option , so at a first glance (i'm not a cracker) but with some decompiling it sould run fine i think, haven't tried with a N-Gaje because any of my friend's has one , it would be great at least to have sonic , i loved that game !!!!!!

allright i have been doing some thinking, and i dont belive that other phones then the n-gage can run its games do to the fact the it must have some kinda of special instruckingset for the 3dfx, the copyprotection might be cracked but i hardly think that the instrucktionset will emulated if you catch my drift.

For the comment on trying the games downloaded from the internet i can confirk they dont run on a n-gage they simply say theres a flash card problem, how ever i belive it might be a size matter since most of the games come on 8 mega cards and default is 32/64 mega
